DeAnn Tucker is a senior manager in Coker's compliance division. She focuses on HIPAA compliance and has over 28 years of combined experience in health information management, as well as privacy and security in acute health systems. She possesses an in-depth knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, the National Institute of Standards and Technology), Joint Commission standards, and payment card industry requirements. Ms. Tucker is also well-versed in state and local regulatory requirements.
