Amy Strauss, MPH, MPA, is a vice president at Coker. Ms. Strauss is a results-driven engagement leader with a focus on provider compensation and alignment. Her expertise in compensation is motivated by a passion for uniting market trends with clients’ mission, vision, and values through the foundation and lens of compensation. She believes that compensation can drive organizational change and promote alignment.
Ms. Strauss has led provider compensation design for independent multispecialty and single-specialty physician groups, integrated physician organizations, AMCs, and health systems of all sizes. Her work has also centered on advising clients on standardizing and evaluating physician arrangements relative to call, administrative roles, and direct employment, resulting in average annual savings of more than $2 million per client. Prior to joining the Coker, Ms. Strauss worked at both ECG and Navigant Consulting in the physician enterprise and financial solutions practices, concentrating on physician compensation, fair market value, and physician integration and alignment.
Ms. Strauss is also a frequent speaker and widely published in this area. She has led many webinars, authored, and spoken on topics such as value based care, APP compensation, best practices in provider alignment, payor dynamics, and consolidation.
