Rosalind “Roz” Cordini, JD, MSN, RN, CHC has joined Coker Group as a Senior Vice President/Director of Compliance Services. Based in Louisville, KY, Cordini is certified in healthcare compliance and experienced as a healthcare regulatory attorney with a solid clinical and healthcare leadership background. Her experience qualifies her to help organizations develop or assess and update their compliance programs and establish remote compliance officer services or advisory support for smaller facilities without the internal resources to support this area of great importance. Cordini’s legal experience assists organizations that are developing novel structures such as clinically integrated networks, understand the statutory and regulatory environment surrounding such entities. While not providing legal counsel to clients in these matters, she can nevertheless render invaluable guidance and advisory services to ensure innovative integration of clinical providers in a compliant fashion.
Prior to joining Coker, Cordini was vice president of legal services/chief compliance officer with Owensboro Health (Owensboro, KY) where she provided support to the chief legal officer in managing the daily functions of the legal services division (legal services, privacy and security, compliance and internal audit, and risk management), and functioned as the chief compliance officer for the health system.
“We are delighted to welcome someone of Roz’s character and experience to the Coker team,” noted Coker Group’s president/CEO, Max Reiboldt. “Roz’s clinical and legal expertise will greatly expand and enhance our compliance services for the benefit of our clients.”
“It is a privilege to join Coker Group as its Director of Compliance Services,” stated Cordini. “Achieving regulatory compliance is challenging and it is extremely rewarding to have the opportunity to provide guidance to healthcare organizations and physician practice groups. I’m honored to assist Coker’s clients in navigating the continuously changing compliance landscape and provide them with pointed advice designed to not only assist them in meeting and understanding the evolving regulations and standards but aid them in ensuring their compliance programs are effective and that they are poised for success.”
